WebToo much blue light over freshwater will promote unwanted algae growth. Don't go more than 8 hours of daylight. If keeping saltwater fish only, you can program it the same way as freshwater, however if you are keeping live corals, I suggest running channel 1 for about 8 hours and channel 2 for about 10 hours. So the way you set it up, your daylight lights (L1) and your Color enhancing LEDS (L2) will be on from 8:30 till 9:00pm. Your moonlight (L3) will be on from 9:00p to 8:30a. So I think what you want is: L1 on from 9:00a to 8:30p.

Schedule just has to do with the time frame (different types) of lights are on or off. That’s universal to all reef tanks and has nothing to do with your bio cube.
