You could take either of those basic classes as a condensed course. Where I go to school microbiology and ochem are 300-level classes. 1 - The chemistry in AP Biology is very basic, and requires little or no prior chemistry knowledge. Last year, as a sophomore, I took AP Biology and Honors Chemistry simultaneously. We covered all of the chemistry-related material in AP Bio before we even started learing in my Chem Honors class.
