WebNov 1, 2009 · This is a great starting point: the perch come and go all season through here varrying on water temps, and any given day can produce. If you do have the opportunity to get off-shore, you don't have to go far: the Inland wall and the shoals are a major wintering ground for perch.

Montrose has been good for numbers of Perch but most are very small. We found larger and keeper sized fish in Belmont. The deepest water in the harbors has been productive.
