If you have old stockings tip the contents through that then empty into the clean water. Steps . Step 1. Set up a clean washed 1,25L or 2L drink bottle. WebTo allow air exchange (vital to Daphnia survival), unscrew the lid of the jar and rest it on top. Do not aerate the culture with a pipette or screw the lid back on the jar. Maintain the culture jar within room temperature (Approx. 21° C), away from direct sunlight. Daphnia will likely survive for 3 to 4 days in the culture with minimal care.
